ECOPIA’s Forest Projects

Implementing forest maintenance activities zone to educate future generations on the importance of biodiversity.

The Bridgestone Group is implementing activities to conserve and restore ecosystems of wildlife at its sites around the world.

In Japan, the group established forest maintenance activity zones—called ECOPIA's Forest—around its plants and other sites.

Through thinning the trees in forests, observing plants and animals, and taking part in forest cleanups, participants discover the roles and functions of forests and the importance of biodiversity.

The group provides these opportunities as a way to contribute to preserving the environment for future generations.
